Today I wanted to share with you my latest skin care goto routine. I recently visited The Vanity Lab twice which is in Vancouver Canada, in the heart of Yaletown, my favourite part of the city. Last week I went for full body laser hair removal, and then the other day I went back and got an IPL laser facial. I received one of these treatments about a year and a half ago in the wintertime and LOVED it, but I believe sometimes you'll need to do a few treatments depending on the severity of your pigmentation/dark spots. I love this facial because not only is it affordable, you will see results almost immediately- this time within about an hour after the treatment I could really see the freckles come up to the surface layer of my skin. then the next couple days it turned into dark specks that looked like coffee grinds sprinkled on your face, looked like toasted freckles! I still have some specks on my face and chest in this video FYI. Anyway, here is the video:

Face masks are so much fun. I've created tons of DIY ones with dry bentonite clay powder, then added in whatever liquids I want! It could be jojoba oil or water, then a drop or two of tea tree essential oil for acne, or lavender essential oil for calming and healing. I've also made masks from avocado, coconut oil, oatmeal, egg whites, honey, yogurt, the list goes on. Doing face masks just reminds me how much I love being a girl! Who doesn't love a good face mask, girl talk and wine?!
